One of the most critical elements of any residential security system is the installation of Fire and Smoke Detectors. These save lives, and as monitored sensors, save property and personal possessions. In contrast to the standard smoke detectors required by building codes and sold by hardware stores, the detectors incorporated in our systems not only create an audible alert but also signal our Johns Brothers Central Monitoring Station when triggered

Our dispatchers will respond as you’ve instructed when the sensors provide such a signal. The primary objective is to determine if lives are threatened, then to protect the premises from any additional damage by dispatching our local fire departments to your home.

Smoke and heat detectors in the Johns Brothers systems are always monitored. In contrast to intrusion devices such as window and door contacts or glass breakage sensors which you can disarm at the control panel, the smoke and heat devices cannot be disarmed and are always providing you with coverage. They will do so whether you are at home or not.
