Since its founding in 1892, Johns Brothers has been linked inextricably to the welfare of the families of Hampton Roads. That tradition of compassion and caring continues to this day.

Committed to Providing Support

The Company, in all its forms, is pledged and committed to provide support where it is needed as stated in its Mission Statement. The Red Cross and the Salvation Army are two of the better known organizations which benefit directly from support by Johns Brothers.

In 2008, the Company established its “Safe at Home” program to expand the number and breadth of groups to which it can provide support. The stated goal of the program is to provide financial assistance to deserving organizations whose focus is the welfare of children and families.

The response has been significant and beneficial to a large number of organizations ranging from a fraternal group, the WooHoo Sistahs of Virginia Beach, to children’s sports clubs such as Virginia Rush Soccer, Pop Warner Football and PONY baseball in the area.
